Welcome to Swarg Ashram – a sacred space dedicated to meditation, silence, and inner transformation through the teachings of Osho and the living presence of Baba.

If you are visiting Swarg Ashram for the first time, we recommend that you go through the following guidelines :

1. Dress Code

Please wear plain white clothes without any color only while in the ashram.

2. Best Time to Visit

The Buddhafield remains ever-active, though it becomes especially vibrant when Baba is physically present at the ashram. The below info will help you plan your visit & stay at the ashram.

  • Busy Celebration Days:
    • Baba’s Birthday (5 Apr) & Enlightenment Day (21 August)
    • Osho’s Birthday (11 Dec), Enlightenment Day (21 March) & Mahaparinirvana Day (19 Jan)
    • Guru Purnima (Full moon of July every year)
    • Diwali & Holi (as per Hindu calendar) and New Year’s Eve (31 Dec)
  • Recommended Season to visit ashram:
    • June to August – With Guru Purnima & Baba’s Enlightenment day celebrations- A great opportunity to go deeper into silence & celebration. The weather can be hot & humid.
    • November to March – With Diwali, New Year, Osho’s Birthday, Mahaparinirvan & Enlightenment Day besides the Holi celebrations happening. The weather is pleasant, & ideal for meditation.
  • Note:
    • Baba is usually not in the ashram during April and May (Summer months).
    • Always check with the welcome center before planning your visit.

3. Meditation Schedule

Swarg Ashram offers a daily rhythm of transformative Osho meditations, guided by silence and energy of the space. Ashram being a dynamic place, the below mentioned schedule keeps changing from time to time. Stay open and receptive.

  • 🕡 Osho Dynamic Meditation – 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM
  • 🧘 Silent Sitting with Baba – 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
  • 🎶 Osho Nadabrahma Meditation – 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
  • 🌅 Osho Kundalini Meditation – 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
  • ✨ Osho Evening Meeting (White Robe) – 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
  • 🧘Silent Sitting with Baba (Ratri Dhyan) – 8.30 – 9.30 PM

Spontaneous satsangs or talks with Baba may occur during his presence. On the days of celebrations the above mentioned schedule does undergo many changes.

5. Accommodation Options

    • Double occupancy rooms with attached washrooms & Kitchenette
    • AC rooms available

    • Terrace huts with shared washroom facilities- offered as double/ triple quadruple sharing as per season.
  3. Fareed Block

    • Washrooms located outside the rooms
  4. Dormitory
    • Shared sleeping space

Rooms are available in shared and non-shared formats. Please speak with the Welcome Center to help choose the most suitable stay. Specific room selection is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. During the days of celebrations, ashram may suggest everyone to share their pre-booked individual rooms to accommodate friends who may come for short stay in case of heavy rush.

6. Buddha Hall

  • The heart of meditation in the ashram.
  • A beautiful marble-floored hall where all scheduled meditations take place.
  • Children are not allowed except during celebration programs.

7. Dining Hall / Meals

  • The ashram provides 3 simple Indian vegetarian meals daily – all without onion and garlic.
  • Meal Times:
    🥣 Breakfast: 8:00 AM
    🍛 Lunch: 12:30 PM
    🍵 Herbal Tea: 4:30 PM
    🍲 Dinner: 7:30 PM
  • Food available in two options: Regular and Mildly spiced

8. Transportation

Swaarg Ashram is located in a small village called Nana Patna near Rajpipla, Gujarat.

  • Ashram is located:
    • 90 km from Vadodara
    • 125 km from Surat
    • 200 km from Ahmedabad
  • All cities are well-connected via Air, Rail and Road transport.
  • As the ashram is in a remote village, we highly recommend booking an ashram cab.

  • If you are an international visitor, contact the Welcome Center to ask for transportation in advance.

9. Bringing Children

  • Children are welcome, but must be under full supervision of parents at all times.
  • Not permitted in Buddha Hall during regular meditation hours.

10. Groceries & Essentials

  • A fruit vendor visits the ashram twice a week offering seasonal fruits.
  • For medicines or groceries, kindly ask the Welcome Center for assistance.
